2. The Bedroom is twice as big, with a big comfy queen bed and a bathroom in the room (separated by a door). It has all the amenities of the Roomette with more space and a higher price. 

If you opt for the sleeping car, remember that you must book the entire unit alone or with someone. Also, the coach has comfortable reclining seats, perfect for getting some shut-eye, so give it a chance.

Transfer to Silver Service in New York or Washington

The Stamford train station is located near the heart of downtown Stamford and provides access to Metro North, Amtrak, and Shore Line East rail services. It lets travelers easily reach New York City, Boston, and other places along the Northeast Corridor. Inside the station, you will find ATMs, vending machines, toilets, and the ticket office, both of which are wheelchair accessible. There is also an elevator to the platforms. Same-day and overnight parking is available and wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, the Stamford train station does not have Wi-Fi or checked baggage service.

Recently opened in 2021, the new transportation facility and architectural marvel is situated across 8th Avenue from Penn Station. Fun fact or a warning: Penn Station is the busiest train station in the western hemisphere, so keep your eyes peeled on your belongings and take a deep breath before you step into the station.

Washington's Union station is the second station you may be boarding the Silver Service train. Changing trains at this station can be a very convenient experience thanks to its size, modern amenities, and professional staff. 30 platforms house multiple tracks with various types of services provided. Passengers can easily access all station areas since they have escalators, elevators, wheelchair-accessible rooms, and dedicated spaces for luggage storage. Overall, customers will enjoy changing trains here due to the historic charm of the building and the efficient transport systems provided by Washington Union Station.

Arriving by train from Stamford to Orlando

 The central Orlando Amtrak station, 1400 Sligh Blvd, is a beautiful historical building from the 1920s that offers the convenient service of checked baggage and free overnight parking. Unfortunately, it could be better connected, especially if you are going to Disney World; in that case, the Kissimmee station would be a better option. The city center, Universal studio, and Disney World are approximately 10 miles away, but the only way to reach them is by taxi (Uber, Lyft)

Silver service and the local Sun Rail serve Kissimmee station. No parking is available, but several car rental companies are at the station. It is located in the historic city center and close to Disney World, but you will still need an Uber or a Lyft to get there.

Besides the previously mentioned Disney World, it is also home to Seaworld, Legoland, Universal studios, and site-specific Gatorworld, making Orlando a dream destination for families and everybody else.
