Spread over an area of ??over 23,800 km2, Lombardia occupies the central part of the Po Valley and the Alps, its extreme northern limit. Bordered by Piemonte, Emilia – Romagna, Trentino Alto Adige and Veneto. Lombardia is divided into twelve provinces: Milan – the capital – Bergamo, Brescia, Como, Cremona, Lecco, Lodi, Mantova, Monza – Brianza, Pavia , Sondrio and Varese, the whole area is a tourist destination very diverse which is one of its most significant economic impact in this region. Milan, the Italian capital of business, is a city rich in art and museums and with their local theaters and restaurants offers many cultural events and leisure opportunities. Duomo The monument is undoubtedly the most attractive for millions of tourists. The city also satisfies lovers of art: the Brera Art Gallery, which houses valuable paintings, and Leonardo’s Last Supper, adjacent to the church of Santa Maria Maggiore, are custodians of a heritage of great significance. Cities of art are also Mantova, Bergamo, Pavia and Cremona who maintain several masterpieces, perfectly preserved.
