Starting from December 2018, faster Railjet trains running between Salzburg and Vienna were designated as Railjet Express (RJX). These trains only make stops in Linz and Sankt Pölten, distinguishing them from those that include additional stops in Vöcklabruck, Attnang-Puchheim, Wels, Sankt Valentin, Amstetten, and Tullnerfeld.

Regionalbahn is a type of train service in Germany that operates on regional routes, connecting smaller towns and cities with larger ones.
